Scientific background

I have been working at the Department of Paediatric Neurology, Second Faculty of Medicine and Motol University Hospital since October 2016. At the same time I started my PhD studies in Neuroscience. I defended my PhD thesis titled Optimizing Epilepsy Surgery in Paediatric Patients in September 2021. I finished my clinical training in May 2022. Currently I work as a member of the surgical team both in patient management (presurgical diagnostics, surgical planning including SEEG studies) and clinical research. Furthermore I work as an epileptologist at our outpatient clinic. Last but not least I have gained a teaching position at Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University.

Research interests

surgical treatment of epilepsy, health-related quality of life of children with epilepsy.
